Referral Process for Outpatient Clinicians
Thank you for considering my practice for your patients who could be benefit from psychiatric care. To help with accessibility to care, I do accept some commercial insurance plans, including those under the Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, Oscar and United Healthcare umbrellas. I am not in network for any type of federal insurance, such as Medicare, Medicaid or Tricare, so these patients would not be appropriate for referral.
This is a small practice with limited administrative staff. To ensure that I am able to review each referral efficiently to best meet the needs of your patients and your clinics, the procedure below is the best way to refer patients to me. I believe strongly that if a patient is ready to move forward with their care, they will initiate if given information/resources to access treatment.
